Woodpecker
A pleasure anglers dream! A lovely island to cast to from almost every peg with bomb or waggler. Secluded out of the way back bays and great margins in the corner pegs. Woodpecker also holds some of the bigger carp so don't be surprised if you hook a lump or two. In the winter the silvers fishing from pegs on the dam wall can be superb with easy access to deep water right in front of the pegs.
Prices
Adults £11.00 Juniors U16 £9.00. Day guest (not fishing) £4 a day. Fishing times are from 8am-6pm from 1st April - 1st October (in season). Please note the main gate is shut at all times please see Jo/Millie in the shop to gain entry into the site (In season) You can still fish until 5pm but if you leave the site you will not be able to regain entry. There are new toilet facilities located at Pines lake.
NO Keep nets on any lake while pleasure fishing unless you are fishing a match.

Features
A 5 acre lake with one large island that gives plenty of room to fish and provides every peg with a feature to cast to. In the Summer a lot of good fish can be had shallow on the waggler and pole and in the Winter huge bream nets can be had from the deeper water.
