Seasonal Breaks at Stafford Moor

Spending Christmas at Stafford Moor

Whether you just fancy locking yourselves away for Christmas or bringing the whole family down for a party our lodges are ideal for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

We fully decorate each lodge inside with its own tree, lights and decorations and some goodies in your lodge!

The local pubs and restaurants have wonderful Christmas menus and Paddy our local butcher will order you your own fresh Devon Turkey for Christmas day.

The pubs all open up on Christmas Day lunch time and it's a lovely start to Christmas - going for a little tour of the local pubs and having sherry and mince pies before dinner. If you stay for new year's eve the local pubs all put on a fantastic evening until the early hours with live entertainment, hot buffets and discos.

Contact Jo or give her a ring on 01805 804360 for your special Christmas Break!

Spring Breaks

When Spring arrives at Stafford Moor it really is a feast for the senses and as the landscape bursts into life, why not enjoy a week stay of tranquility.

The lakes fish exceptionally well all year round and we hold matches right through the year. If fishing isn't your thing you can enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside and wildlife or take a day trip into Exeter. Whatever you do, you're guaranteed to have a magical and stress free time.

Autumn Breaks

When Autumn and Winter arrives at Stafford Moor it really turns into a winter wonderland and the lodges, originally from Canada, really keep you warm and cosy after an afternoon's fishing.

The lakes still fish exceptionally well in the winter and if you fancy a bit of fun we have our annual Christmas match in December.

The Duke of York, a local inn, is wonderful in winter, sitting in the rocking chairs by the fire all afternoon with a glass of wine or a pint of real ale. Or popping into Exeter for some Christmas shopping, or if you just can't keep away until next summer a Spring break might just keep you going.
