Tanners
Tanners is our most famous lake. Nestling in front of the lodges we use it as our primary match lake during the year. With 9 islands and good margins matches can be won from almost any peg. During the Summer 100lbs+ weights are needed to frame and when the silvers turn on in the winter, weights over 50lb are common.
Prices
Adults £1.00 Juniors under 16 is £9.00. Day guest (not fishing) £4 a day per person. Fishing times are 8am-6pm Please note the main gate is shut at all times please see Jo/Millie in the shop to gain entry into the site. You can still leave the site but you cannot regain access into the site if you drive out after 5pm every day. There is new toilet facilities located at Pines lake.
NO Keep nets on any lake while pleasure fishing unless you are fishing a match. Please read the dipping sign on arrival the dipping is for a minimum of 15 minutes.
The shop opening times are 8am-5pm
All pleasure lakes will be closed for day tickets from 1st January - re-open on 1st March 2024
No day tickets available on Christmas Day and Boxing Day

Carp (Mirrors, Ghosts and Commons) to 16lbs.
Tench (Green and Golden) to 5lbs.
Bream 5lbs, Roach 2lbs, Rudd 1.5lbs and Perch 4lbs.
Features
A 5 acre pleasure match lake dotted with 9 islands all joined by a sunken bar. This gives every peg a feature on the bomb or waggler. Good depths around 5 - 6 feet are reachable with the pole all around the lake.
