Lodge
Lodge is a beautiful lake established in 1973. Gorgeous bays, overhanging willows and huge banks of lillies provide a home for 600 double figure Carp to 43lbs. The carp have grown very well in this large lake with plenty of natural habitats and interesting bays and islands. There are also perch to nearly 5lbs starting to show in the winter months.
Prices
From 1st March 2023 the tariff is £33 for every 24 hours.
Please note we do not have day tickets available on our specimen lakes. Overnight guest charge is £8 for every 24 hours, you must book all guests in at the time of booking. Please note all payments are non refundable, or if notice of a minimum of 3 days is given we try and re book you in for another session if we can replace your booking. Please call 01805804360 to make a booking. Please do not arrive on site before 11.30am on your arrival day.
Please note the main gate is shut at all times please see Jo/Millie in the shop to gain entry into the site , you cannot re enter if you drive out as the gate will not reopen until 8am the following morning. This gate is part of our otter fencing which is to protect our fish. If you are staying on site and wish to use the toilets/showers you can still do this by parking in the small car park just before the gate on the right hand side and use the side gate which are open from 8am - 5pm after this time please use the new toilets located at Pines lake. Please do not invite visitors to arrive after 4pm as there is no access through the gate into the site after this time.
All fishing must be pre-booked and paid for before going onto the lake. If you cannot make a trip please phone and let us know at least 48 hours prior.
Non-fishing guest £4 per day or camping £8 over night. Children under 16 years of age are NOT permitted on our specimen lakes.
Both specimen lakes will be closed in January and February 2024 we re open 1st March 2024. During January and February only Hollywood lodge and the two specimen lodges located on Beatties lake will be available.

Features
Overhanging willows with large swims all recently built with steps, fully barked with a detailed map to show you all the fishing boundaries on each swim, this is possibly one of the prettiest lakes in Devon.This lake is almost nine acres so plenty of water to go at ranging from deep water at the dam to 13 feet , to 2 acres of shallows at the westerly end.
