Colin Perry won this years very fiercly fought after four day competition on all our lakes just nipping Steve Kedge at the death, after a draw on 8 pts each
Colins aggregate weight of 284lbs beat Steve by 20lbs, Steve had won the previous two festivals and was going for his hat trick but Colin had other ideas.
Our family have known Colin since our 1st ever festival in Cornwall back in 1988. He used to turn up to tackle the hard fighting cats and carp with a pole elasticted on the outside with rings and a handfull of elastic. Well done Colin on your 1st ever festival win, see you in May.
Adrian Marshall another good friend from down the years netted a staggering 78.7 of pure roach to a pound, all on maggot at 5m.
Dave Tirney and Dav Wykes both took 140lb nets of carp even in the cold weather.
