Holidays Terms & Conditions
- When booking a lodge a non-refundable deposit of £80.00 per week is required.
- We will hold your reservation for up to five days, pending receipt of your written confirmation and initial payment.
- The outstanding balance must be sent at least eight weeks before arrival.
- If your holiday is being arranged less than eight weeks before arrival, payment must be sent in full.
- No pets are allowed in our lodges.
- Babies do not count as a person until the age of 3; they then count as one of the party.
- There will be a charge of an additional 15% for an extra man added to the maximum of four single males.
- A returnable deposit of a minimum of £50.00 for all units is required. This will be posted to you after your departure providing everything has been left as you found it. An approriate sum will be deducted for any damage or unnecessary damage left behind.
- The lodges and their contents must be left in the same confition as found on arrival and any damage must be paid for fully if in excess of returnable deposit taken.
- All lodges are equipped for six persons. Please do not exceed this number.
- We would ask you to bring a maximum of two vehicles as each lodge is only allocated two car parking spaces.
- No bait or tackle to be taken into accomodation, each lodge has a lockable tackle store.
Cancellation and Insurance
- If you are forced to cancel your holiday we will endeavour to re-let the accomodation. Due to being a small family business, we regret all deposits are non-refundable.
- We recommend you insure against cancellation of your booking through accident, illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
Fishing Rules
- Beatties Specimen Lake swims need to be reserved when booking your holiday to avoid disappointment. 12hr day or night sessions available, free to lodge residents.
- Collect your free fishing pass from the lodge on arrival.
- Carp mats necessary on Beatties Lake.
- No sacking on Beatties.
- Barbless hooks only.
- No method feeder on pleasure lakes.
- Keepnets may be curtailed in warm weather.
- A maximum of 3 rods on the specimen lake and 2 on pleasure lakes.
- No peanuts or Tiger nuts.
- Fishing from marked pegs only.
- Night fishing on pleasure lakes only by arrangement.
- Please treat fish with respect and enjoy your fishing.
- 65lbs maximum in a carp keepnet, 50lbs maximum in a silvers keepnet.
