Autumn Breaks at Stafford Moor

When Autumn and Winter arrives at Stafford Moor it really turns into a winter wonderland and the lodges, originally from Canada, really keep you warm and cosy after an afternoon's fishing.

We offer short breaks, long weekend or even full weeks from November through until March. If you are a couple on your own you could take advantage of our romantic deals; a cheaper rate just for two.

The lakes still fish exceptionally well in the winter and we still hold matches right through winter until January and if you fancy a bit of fun we have our annual Christmas match in December.

The Duke of York, a local inn, is wonderful in winter, sitting in the rocking chairs by the fire all afternoon with a glass of wine or a pint of real ale. Or popping into Exeter for some Christmas shopping, or if you just can't keep away until next summer a Spring break might just keep you going.
